Gibsblog: Okay , welcome to gibsblog miss keziah

Keziah: Thank you Gibsblog: We'll love to know your take or view on certain things affecting the youth's today, like drugs abuse, child abuse and relationship among youths but before we continue we'll want you to tell us a little about you

Keziah: Alright Am Ayuba Keziah Nanya am a graduate of economics from Adeleke university ede Osun State am from plateau state and currently a serving corp member in Katsina State.

Gibsblog:Thank you very much miss keziah, Now as a Young lady growing up in Nigeria what is your take on child Abuse?

Keziah:I see child abuse as any behaviour that harms a child it can be physical, sexual or emotional abuse. It is mostly caused by neglect especially from the parents.

Gibsblog: Yes, so what do you think the government or the society at large should do to help a child who's already a victim of abuse, to help he or her live a normal life Keziah:The Nigeria government is not really doing much concerning this. It think the government should take actions against abuser and these abuse should face the law of the land. Parent, guidance and the society should talk and listen to what an abused child has to say and believe what they have heard. The abused child have to be protected from further abuse they need to feel protected. Every child need to learn between good and bad touch very early. Children should know that it is important and all right to say no in uncomfortable situations and it is not cowardly to inform trusted people in such situations.

Gibsblog: yes the abused child should be protected from further abuse. Okay miss keziah can you tell us a little about drugs abuse, just your view

Keziah: Drug abuse is use of a drug in amounts or by methods which are harmful to an individual. It can also be the use of drugs in a way that is not prescribed by the doctor. Depending on the actual compound, drug abuse including alcohol may lead to health problems, social problems, morbidity, injuries, unprotected sex, violence, deaths, motor vehicle accidents, homicides, suicides, physical dependence or psychological addiction. Drug abuse is common among youth today. A lot of them go into it because of the lack of self esteem, they believe they are not just the best version of themselves. The type of friends an individual keep and moves with can cause one to go into drug abuse as a young lady if majority of my friends are into drug abuse I will tend to go into it ,there is a popular saying show me your friends and I will tell you who you are. I will want to feel like my mate, I will want to be like that guy or lady that is known to be into drug abuse and is famous.Youth also go into drug abuse to please people, their fans a very good example of these youths are our musicians a lot of them do these just to please their fans and they claim they get inspiration from it.

Gibsblog: So miss keziah what do you think the government and the society can do to curb or reduce the abuse of drugs among youths?

Keziah: The society and government should discourage and frown to drug abuse. I think youth should be enlighten on the danger drug abuse cause, a lot of them do not know the danger it comes with.

Gibsblog: Okay on ur own part, how can you help a friend that is already in to the abuse of drugs and can't help he or herself

Keziah: I will help if only i sit my friend down and talk to him or her in a way he or she will understand, I will let him or her know that he or she is into drug and the dangers that drug abuse comes with. It is now left for the person to accept that he or she is into drug abuse and wants to come out of it.I will help in anyway I know can be easy and good for that person stop the abuse of drug. If I keep quiet on it and refuse to talk to this person am not helping he or she and he or she may see it as a normal thing.

Gibsblog:okay keziah thank you very much for your time,Gibsblog is glad having you

Keziah: It'smy pleasure.
