Nigerian Students Abroad want their atm cards to work again

Nigerian Students Abroad appeal to President Buhari and request that their ATM cards should work again they can no longer bear the pain of this new development

Nigerian Banks have suspended ATM card usage abroad and online transactions. Banks based in Nigeria has stopped their Automated Teller Machine cards (debit and credit) from working overseas as dollar scarcity continues to hit the economy badly.
This new development of banks suspending ATM cards usage abroad has made students studying in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Ukraine and other parts of the world to face more challenges getting their monthly stipends from their parents and even paying their school fees.
As a result of this sudden change a lot of Nigerian students abroad now risk the chances of not having enough money to feed themselves. They are also at risk of being expelled from their various schools or not having money to pay for the hostels and apartments where they live in.
Most Nigerian students abroad are complaining bitterly about banks suspending their Automated Teller Machine cards (debit and credit) from working overseas they can no longer bear the pain of this new development. A lot of them are requesting for change, they want to be able to use their ATM cards again because it is really affecting them.

Especially in a country like Ukraine where they have to depend on money from back home. In Ukraine most foreign student have limited possibilities of working due to language barrier, racism and low income payment that is too little for them to even pay their school fees.
The Ukrainian law does not allow foreign student to work, which leaves them with no option than to depend on their parents in Nigeria for money.  Now that banks in Nigeria suspends credit card withdrawal most of them can no longer take it anymore. Some have complained amongst themselves other have taken it to social media to pour out their minds.
Some Nigerian Students In London too have started to protest over the suspension of Naira ATM Cards usage.
